Wiring the Flathead

This is the basic wiring diagram I used with the exception of the switch. I used a terminal block and fed it from the B+ side of the voltage regulator then fed everything off that. Since there is no battery, the lights come on as soon as the engine fires. I tried the small solid state voltage regulator but my lights kept blowing out so I went with the Bosch type #74511-65 and instead of the #32727-63 capacitor which is either hard to find or very expensive, I used an early Chevy points condenser(Advanced Autoparts #G120P) for about $8. I hid the kill switch under the seat. I wanted turn signals since most people don't know what hand signals are anymore so I used a solid state flasher from Tractor Supply and used the stock wiring on the late bagger handlebar controls. This works fine except I have to hold the turn signal button in and the horn goes "beep, beep, beep" because the horn button uses the same power source as the turn signals. Everything is 12 volt.
