The Beginnings of a Motorcycle

The front end came from E-bay in 3 separate purchases. It's all 1978 Sportster. I wanted good disk brakes up front as I was using the original mechanical brakes for the back. 

The gas tank is from a 2006 Softtail Standard that had a small ding in the right side. The handlebars are from a 2005 Road King, later replaced with drag bars.

A little paint and chrome makes a big difference.

Custom Chrome headlight, mini speedometer and late model dresser handlebar controls. The tank console is from a 2007 FLH.
